While not yet 40, Brandon has already amassed a nearly 20 year career in residential real estate. He began selling real estate at age 20, and has held an active real estate salesperson license in no less than 5 states (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and Utah). Prior to originating mortgages, Brandon also served as Director of Sales and then Financial Analyst for a regional developer. He began his mortgage career in 2014 at a local credit union, and went “independent” in 2015 to better serve his clients by offering a larger array of mortgage products at better rates than can be offered through a retail lender. He has since grown into a respected real estate figure locally, being voted Lake Wales Area Realtors Affiliate of the year for 2018 and named Best Mortgage Broker as voted by readers of Haven Magazine for 2019. Brandon and his team operate primarily by referral and help roughly 100 families each year meet their mortgage goals. They spend a great deal of effort to ensure each client truly has a WOW experience. In addition to being an actively licensed real estate broker and mortgage originator, he is also a licensed and appointed Title Agent by the State of Florida. You would be hard pressed to find a more well-rounded or down to earth individual to consult for your residential real estate purchase or sale! Brandon grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and received his B.A. in Banking and Finance through the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He is married to Elizabeth Ingley McWhorter and they both stay busy with their three young children, Ansley, Bryce, and Cooper. Apart from work and family, Brandon enjoys active involvement at The Church of the Good Shepherd in his hometown of Lake Wales, Florida, cooking for family and friends, and playing mediocre golf.
